The Association of Information Technology Experts is hosting the AITEX Summit Summer 2026 on August 30-31. This global online hackathon brings together developers, data scientists, designers, researchers, and technical leaders to build solutions that create real value in the real world.
This season's theme, "From Ideas to Impact," reflects a shift the whole industry is making. The challenge is no longer writing an isolated script or training a model in a sandbox - it's building resilient, scalable systems that work inside live environments and improve how people live, work, and connect.
Four Tracks, One Goal
Participants can submit projects in four tracks:
Each track welcomes a different approach, but every project starts with the same question: what meaningful change can it create?
Expert Judging with Production Standards
All submissions will undergo hands-on review by a panel of senior engineers, enterprise architects, designers, and technical directors from leading technology companies. Judges evaluate projects against practical benchmarks - code structure, backend stability, user experience, and deployment readiness - giving every team actionable feedback grounded in real-world engineering.
For participants, this means a rare opportunity: presenting your work directly to the kind of technical leaders who scale global software systems, and getting an honest, expert assessment of what it would take to ship it.
Awards and Recognition
Top projects will be recognized with cash prizes and lasting visibility:
Judge Recognition Awards will also celebrate the experts whose mentorship and insight elevate projects throughout the summit.
Featured in International Business Times
The Summer Summit is already drawing industry attention. International Business Times published a feature on the event, highlighting its production-focused format and the direct access participants get to senior Big Tech engineers on the judging panel.
How to Join
Participation is open to remote teams and independent builders worldwide, with no geographic restrictions. You can register as a pre-formed team or join individually and form alliances in the participant portal before the coding window opens on August 30.
You bring the idea, the team, and the drive. We provide the stage, expert support, and recognition to help your project make an impact.
