Andrei Mishurin is an AI Technical Product Manager based in Russia with over a decade of deep technical expertise spanning software development and artificial intelligence. He currently serves as Product Owner at Alfa-Bank, where he has been since November 2022. At Russia's third-largest bank by assets, Andrei manages cross-functional teams building intelligent customer support systems and conversational AI products that serve more than 1.3 million business clients.

At Alfa-Bank, Andrei led the complete redesign and technical relaunch of the bank's B2B chat support platform. He restructured two teams comprising ten engineers, designers, and QA specialists to elevate the chat product to the top position by traffic within the bank's online platform. The project delivered a 40% reduction in call center volume and generated economic savings of 65 million rubles in 2023 and 120 million rubles in 2024. He implemented an AI chatbot that scaled automation from zero to 35% while maintaining quality scores matching those of human operators—a rare achievement in the industry. The new system reduced average resolution time by 30 seconds per session and created a new sales channel through personalized recommendations, achieving a 15% sales conversion rate by the end of 2024.

In 2024, Andrei developed and launched "Spotlight," a universal search system powered by large language models that transformed how business clients interact with Alfa-Bank's digital services. Recognizing that 60% of chat inquiries were navigation questions rather than critical issues, he proposed transitioning from traditional search to conversational interaction for complex, contextual queries. Managing two cross-functional teams, he architected an intelligent search system using open-source projects for rapid MVP deployment and implemented an automated knowledge base optimization pipeline. The MVP launch reduced support chat inquiries by 16%. He then extended the concept to create a "Neural Assistant"—a multi-agent architecture enabling customers to resolve virtually any banking question without operator involvement. The system achieved dialogue quality scores of 91 out of 100, matching ChatGPT's highest benchmarks, and delivered an additional 20% reduction in support chat interactions and 15% reduction in call center traffic.

For his work on the Spotlight project, Andrei received the 2024 National Award "Development of Regions. Best for Russia" in the category "Project of the Year in Artificial Intelligence." The award recognized his implementation of generative AI technology in the banking sector, specifically for creating the first conversational search assistant in Russian fintech that generates ready-made, legally verified answers to complex client questions. The expert council noted that he launched this functionality in Alfa-Bank's mobile and web platforms before similar features became standard in global search engines like Google and Yandex.
Prior to Alfa-Bank, Andrei worked as Technical Product Manager at SberDevices from January 2020 to November 2022. SberDevices, a subsidiary of Russia's largest bank, develops an AI-powered smart device ecosystem including smart speakers, TV set-top boxes, and other IoT devices. He led a team of ten engineers developing and integrating the Salute voice and text assistant for the payments system across fifteen-plus home devices and applications. He created dialogue system architecture supporting over 40 million monthly active users with comprehensive state management for screenless and voice-based devices. Andrei built a payment platform from scratch, scaling transaction volume from zero to more than 1.5 million dollars per month through integration with Sber devices. He managed implementation of an innovative biometric payment confirmation system using facial and voice recognition on devices with cameras and microphones—the first such system in the industry for screenless IoT payments. He also managed payment system integration into RuStore, the official app store, and implemented gas station payments through SberPay in 2GIS, reaching over two million monthly active users.

From February 2018 to January 2020, Andrei worked as an entrepreneur in the service sector, growing annual revenue from zero to over 22 million rubles. He managed company leadership, strategy development, team management, budget oversight, and marketing campaign development for both online and offline sales channels.
Earlier in his career, Andrei held DevOps Engineer positions at CROC Incorporated from October 2017 to February 2018, where he launched a cloud infrastructure service and cloud storage project called "Croc Openstack." At IQ Reserve from November 2015 to October 2017, he launched several projects including "Valo Cloud," an automated backup and data synchronization solution, and a cloud storage project for the government sector. From September 2013 to November 2015, he worked as Systems Engineer at the Federal Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology No. 8, managing IT infrastructure administration and network systems.
