Anna Tarasova is a Software Engineer and Assistant Professor based in Russia, bringing specialized expertise in backend systems, applied machine learning, and large-scale system architecture. She holds a PhD in Engineering and an MSc in Computer Science and has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications while holding 10 patents in intelligent systems, machine learning, and automation.
Since April 2022, Anna Tarasova has served as a Software Engineer at NVIDIA GeForceNow, where she develops backend systems for international projects spanning Armenia and South Korea. In this role, she has made critical architectural decisions that enhanced system scalability and collaborated closely with external development teams to successfully integrate third-party billing systems and identity verification systems. Her work involves designing and evolving backend architectures while making key technology decisions that support the platform's global operations.
Concurrently, Anna Tarasova has held academic positions at Samara State Transport University for over five years. She has served as Assistant Professor since September 2023, teaching higher education courses and building expertise in public speaking and educational methodology. Prior to this appointment, she worked as a Postgraduate Researcher and Teacher from September 2020 to August 2023, conducting machine learning research and data science investigations while developing intelligent decision-support systems based on pattern recognition and self-adaptive machine learning methods.
Her doctoral research focused on automatic control of transport processes, specifically developing trainable classifiers of rail line states with self-tuning solver functions for automated train traffic control systems. This work combined her expertise in pattern recognition, machine learning, and real-world transportation applications, resulting in significant contributions to the field of intelligent automation systems.
Anna Tarasova completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Automatic Control of Transport Processes at Samara State Transport University from September 2020 to December 2022, achieving the highest grade. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the same institution, expected to complete in July 2025. Her earlier education includes a Master of Engineering in Automatic and Telecommunications Engineering from Samara State Transport University, completed in July 2020. She has earned professional certifications including CCNA: Introduction to Networks, CCNA: Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation, and CCNA: Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials.
Her technical expertise encompasses backend web development, computer science principles, software design, Spring Boot, network architecture, security implementation, wireless network management, machine learning research, data science, and intelligent systems development.
