Ihor Taldenko is a Senior/Lead Drupal Developer based in Riverview, Florida, with over 13 years of specialized experience in building and supporting complex Drupal-based platforms. Currently serving as a Senior Developer at Velocity Global since 2024, Ihor Taldenko designed and built a fully automated deployment workflow using GitLab CI/CD pipelines that streamlined the entire release process. He configured Acquia Cloud hooks to automatically execute Drupal CLI commands during deployment, reducing manual intervention and accelerating time to production. He rebuilt the Drupal theme to selectively attach only necessary JavaScript files to specific pages, significantly reducing load times and improving overall performance. His management of the Akamai Content Delivery Network configuration optimized caching efficiency and content delivery across global endpoints. He implemented two large-scale data imports from third-party API endpoints utilizing the Drupal Feeds module, establishing robust integration patterns. His work with the Phrase API ensured comprehensive multilingual support across the website, including generation and maintenance of multilingual sitemaps for improved search engine optimization. He maintained several ReactJS projects integrated within the Drupal environment and provided ongoing support for Marketo integrations while implementing various SEO optimizations.

From 2023 to 2024, Ihor Taldenko served as Lead Developer at Wayfinder-UX, where he managed development initiatives for UL.org and ULSE.org. He architected and built the wayfinder-ux.com website from scratch using Drupal 10 Layout Builder and ReactJS, establishing the technical foundation for the company's digital presence. He managed development teams across multiple projects, implemented industry best practices, and mentored junior developers to enhance their technical capabilities. He partnered with Pantheon to implement a secure and scalable hosting solution while maintaining proactive security measures. As Lead Drupal Developer at Wunderman Thompson in Budapest from 2021 to 2023, Ihor Taldenko led development of application modules for Nokia.com, collaborating with senior software developers to ensure timely implementation and updates. He managed the development team and coordinated release efforts for Nokia.com/shop, overseeing critical business tasks in a highly complex enterprise environment that required effective collaboration across international teams.

During his tenure as Senior Drupal Developer at JYSK from 2016 to 2021, Ihor Taldenko provided comprehensive support for the main JYSK website and approximately 20 additional multisites across the countries where JYSK operates. He accomplished the successful migration of 20 multisites from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8 using the Drupal Migration API, ensuring seamless transitions with minimized downtime while enhancing site functionality and performance. He led development of SOLR search functionality and implemented various features related to REST and JSON API, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting. His proactive identification and resolution of technical issues ensured optimal performance and user satisfaction across all international properties.
From 2018 to 2019, Ihor Taldenko served as Team Lead Drupal at Boylesoftware Inc., managing a team of four developers for the Outside Stories project. He oversaw the migration to Drupal 8 and directed development of key features including Feeds API, SOLR & Facets, and Rate, Voting & Userpoints systems. He reviewed and optimized application scalability, performance, and load balancing through advanced analytical approaches.

In 2017 at NDP, Ihor Taldenko conducted advanced troubleshooting and performed sophisticated backend functionality fixes for high-profile clients including British Council, Big Society Capital, Everywoman, Good Finance, Love the Garden, and Stroke Association. He provided comprehensive backend functionality for the SAHU website and led end-to-end development of the Environment & Health website from scratch. His technical expertise enhanced the commerce features of the Jesuit website, ensuring secure and seamless transactions.
As Senior Software Developer at DOOR3 in 2016, Ihor Taldenko facilitated ongoing communication with customers to discuss project progress and collect feedback at different stages. He led development of an internal platform using REST API, Drupal 8 Migration API, and custom theming to create a high-performing and scalable solution.
From 2014 to 2016 as Drupal Developer at Blink Reaction, Ihor Taldenko led the responsive redesign of the Preparation H website and served as key backend developer for Johnson & Johnson's digital properties including Whopneu and Sick Just Got Real. He contributed to the Olysio website as a backend developer, working with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that enhanced functionality and user experience.

During his freelance period from 2012 to 2016, Ihor Taldenko created custom functionality for house booking using Feeds API and Rooms API for the Skitop website, importing content from interchalet.de through XML API interface. He contributed to ongoing maintenance and development of new modules for the Lowy Institute website and performed bug fixing for the Ecosolarcool website while adding multi-currency functionality based on user location and recalculated by the European Central Bank. He optimized the homepage layout for mobile devices for the Manna Capital Management website. He maintained and developed custom modules and theming for the CKJU website and led end-to-end development of the SELondonChamber website from scratch.

From 2011 to 2012 as Drupal Developer at Vanilla Devs LLC, Ihor Taldenko provided ongoing development and support for the BlouinArtinfo Corp portfolio of websites, including Blouin News, Blogs Blouin News, and Artinfo. He developed new modules and improved existing functionality across all three websites and utilized JIRA ticket support to effectively manage and prioritize issues and improvements.
Ihor Taldenko is an active member of the Drupal Association as a Supporting Partner since 2014 and served as a speaker at the Drupal Conference in 2019, sharing his expertise with the global Drupal community. He holds Acquia certifications as a Drupal 7 and Drupal 8 developer and completed Akamai Web Performance Foundations training.
