Rohit Emani is a Data Engineer with 7+ years of experience specializing in data engineering, machine learning, and supply chain optimization across telecommunications, semiconductor, and subsea engineering industries. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, he designs canonical data models, builds ETL pipelines, and develops data-driven solutions using cloud technologies and AI platforms, with a mission to contribute to the advancement of human civilization through strategic improvements in data and AI domains.
At Cox Communications (May 2025 - Present), a major telecommunications company, Rohit serves as Data Engineer designing, developing, and maintaining complex canonical data models that align with business requirements, integration needs, and industry best practices using SAP Power Designer for conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

He collaborates with business stakeholders, data architects, and engineers to translate data requirements into effective model designs, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with enterprise data architecture standards. He designs data structures supporting interoperability and consistency across multiple systems with focus on reusability and integration. He performs data analysis and profiling to understand data relationships and transformations needed for canonical modeling, works closely with ETL developers and BI teams to optimize data flows, and defines and implements data governance, data quality, and metadata management processes to maintain high data integrity and consistency.

At Symbastech Corporation (December 2024 - April 2025), he served as Data Analyst collecting, cleaning, and analyzing datasets to identify patterns, correlations, and actionable insights. He developed and maintained dashboards, visualizations, and reports using Tableau, Power BI, and Excel, conducted statistical analysis and trend forecasting to support business decision-making, and wrote efficient SQL queries for data extraction and reporting. At Whitepolar Technologies LLC (January 2024 - December 2024), as Business Analyst, he collaborated with cross-functional teams to gather and document detailed technical requirements, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria. He analyzed and modeled current and future business processes for optimization, identified opportunities for process enhancement and efficiency, and applied Agile and Scrum methodologies to manage project timelines and ensure on-time delivery.
At Micron Technology (May 2023 - August 2023), he served as Source to Pay Intern at the Global Procurement Center of Excellence, streamlining processes from Three Way to Two Way Match for intangible goods to improve system efficiency. He performed root cause analysis on problem packages at the warehouse, achieved process migration targets using Symbio Platform for BPMN process flow mapping, developed a model to compute constrained consensus for new demand planning hierarchy entities, and devised a data-driven model to optimize customer support plan allocation by integrating sales plan, inventory, and supply projections.

At TechnipFMC (July 2018 - August 2021), he served as Data Engineer I in Manifolds and Interconnect Systems, acting as Lead Engineer for design and stress analysis of PLET Structure for the fast-track LLOG Spruance project with team management, budget tracking, and deliverables monitoring. He served as Product Engineer for a 135ft Spreader Bar Assembly for Shell Gumusut Kakap Phase 3 subsea jumper installation, performed data compilation, analysis, and visualizations of all Manifold Units, managed inventory processes using SAP ECC 6, and contributed to design optimization of Pipeline End Manifold for installation and operation functionalities.

Rohit holds an MS in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology with GPA 3.6/4.0, where he also served as Graduate Teaching Assistant for Regression Analysis. He earned his BS (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Aerospace Engineering from K L University with GPA 3.71/4.0. He has published four papers on aerothermodynamics and hypersonic re-entry vehicle optimization, was selected for paper presentation at ASME IMECE 2018 conference in Pittsburgh, and received a Silver Medal at TechnipFMC for reflecting core values on the LLOG Project. His technical expertise spans Python, R, SQL, cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure, databases including Snowflake and BigQuery, AI agent platforms including n8n and Relevance AI, and data visualization tools including Power BI and Tableau.
