Natallia Kalivoshka is a Principal Software Engineer with more than eight years of experience building and modernizing production banking platforms, distributed systems, and critical financial infrastructure. Her career traces a clear progression from structured software engineering training through backend development to principal-level responsibilities, with deep expertise in Java backend engineering, integration architecture, production reliability, observability, and applied ML integration.

Natallia Kalivoshka currently holds the title of Principal Software Engineer in the Engineering Expertise Department at Gazprombank (Bank GPB JSC), a role she took on in December 2023 and held through January 2026. In this capacity, she defined production reliability and observability patterns for the bank's integration platform supporting regulated digital payment services, establishing standards for idempotency, deduplication, timeouts, retries, error handling, distributed tracing, metrics, and structured logging. She coordinated design and code reviews across development, QA, operations, and connected-system teams, and participated in end-to-end testing, release planning, production rollout, and post-release stabilization. Among her most significant contributions was implementing and deploying ML-assisted telemetry analysis within the production integration environment, which accelerated anomaly triage and root-cause localization during the regulated pilot phase of Gazprombank's Digital Ruble integration.

Prior to this role, Natallia Kalivoshka served as Chief Development Engineer in the same Engineering Expertise Department from September 2022 through November 2023, where she contributed to the bank-side integration architecture for that same regulated digital payment platform. Her work involved translating regulatory and business requirements into service boundaries, API contracts, operation lifecycles, and auditable workflows, and she developed reliability requirements covering transaction idempotency, deduplication, error handling, logging, metrics, and traceability across connected systems. From September 2021 through August 2022, she held the Chief Development Engineer title within the Front-End Systems Department, contributing to the modernization of a production KPI and performance-management platform serving retail and contact-center operations. She participated in decomposing legacy functionality and migrating it toward a service-based architecture, automated deployment, KPI calculation, reporting, notification, and validation workflows, and strengthened CI/CD pipelines, integration testing, release controls, and production monitoring. The technology environment across her Gazprombank roles included Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, NGINX, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, Python, LightGBM, OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, distributed tracing, and certificate-based secure channels.
Before joining Gazprombank, Natallia Kalivoshka spent nearly four years at EPAM Systems, advancing from Junior Backend Developer, a role she held from January 2018 through August 2018, to Middle Backend Developer from August 2018 through August 2021. Throughout this time she contributed to the ongoing expansion and modernization of a long-running production document-processing and workflow automation system supporting a bank's transition from manual handling to electronic intake, classification, validation, routing, and approval workflows. She designed and implemented Java and Spring backend modules for document upload and registration, metadata population, mandatory-field validation, client-dossier completeness checks, and cross-system duplicate-registration checks. A particularly impactful contribution was her ownership of the backend integration of an existing OCR and ML service for document-type classification and field extraction, which enabled approximately 70% of standard incoming documents to be classified and initially validated automatically while reducing manual document-handling effort by approximately 50%. She also built REST integrations with CRM and other internal banking systems alongside SOAP-based interoperability with legacy platforms, and delivered backend functionality for workflow routing, approval-status tracking, role-based access control, audit logging, electronic-signature workflows, and cross-system document exchange. Her work at EPAM Systems was conducted within a cross-functional team and relied on Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST, SOAP, SQL, PostgreSQL, Maven, and Git. Her time at EPAM Systems was preceded by participation in the company's External Lab and Internal Lab software engineering training programs from April through December 2017.

Natallia Kalivoshka is the author of three peer-reviewed technical publications. She published "Multi-level SLI/SLO model for critical financial infrastructure: linking technical metrics to business scenarios" in the International Journal of Engineering and Computer Science in July 2026, and "Load Forecasting and Adaptive Capacity Planning for Mass Deployment of Digital Payment Services" in the International Journal of Latest Research in Engineering and Technology in June 2026. An earlier paper, "Explainable Anomaly Detection in Multimodal Telemetry of Banking Microservices," appeared in the Universal Library of Business and Economics in 2025. She has also served as an invited jury member for two technology and innovation competitions: the Era of Innovation 2025 Expert Council, where she independently evaluated projects spanning IT, AI, fintech, business-process automation, and digital platforms from October through December 2025, and the Astra Global event "Trends in Fintech, Insurance, Blockchain: Panel Discussions and Pitching" in June 2023, where she assessed startup projects for innovation, scalability, technology maturity, business viability, and regulatory readiness.

Natallia Kalivoshka holds a Specialist Degree with the qualification of Civil Engineer in Highways, Roads and Aerodrome Construction from Belarusian State University of Transport, completed between September 2013 and June 2018, as well as a Professional Retraining Diploma with the qualification of Logistics Specialist-Economist from the same institution, completed between October 2016 and April 2018.
