His career spans roles in telecommunications operations, infrastructure development, and applied research, with work conducted across Eastern Europe, Germany, and the United States.
Remzi Bekirov currently serves as Senior Telecommunications Infrastructure Expert (Broadband Networks) at Speed Light Network LLC in the United States, a position he has held since March 2026. In this role, he focuses on the architecture analysis of next-generation broadband networks, applying artificial intelligence techniques to fiber-optic traffic analysis and anomaly detection, and optimizing high-load fiber-optic systems. He also provides technical consultation on scalable telecommunications infrastructure design, bringing a research-oriented perspective to complex engineering challenges.
Prior to this, Remzi Bekirov held the title of Principal Telecommunications Infrastructure Specialist at Speed Light Network LLC from November 2025 to February 2026. During this period, he led broadband telecom infrastructure development projects, designed solutions for high-speed fiber-optic networks, and contributed to research initiatives on robotic fiber-optic cable laying systems, integrating automated technologies into infrastructure operations processes.
Earlier in his career, Remzi Bekirov worked as a Senior Fiber-Optic Infrastructure Specialist at TransTeleCom Company JSC (TTK) from January 2020 to September 2022. There, he managed the operation and modernization of broadband fiber-optic infrastructure, performed diagnostics and optimization of optical communication networks, provided technical support for backbone fiber-optic lines, and contributed to projects aimed at improving data transmission reliability and quality.
Remzi Bekirov has authored four research publications across his areas of specialization. In 2021, while at TransTeleCom Company JSC, he published "The Future of Fiber-Optic Communication Systems: Perspectives on Terabit Systems and Photonic Integrated Circuits," exploring advances in fiber-optic communication and photonic technologies. In March 2023, as an independent researcher, he published "Quantum Computing Threats to Existing Encryption Methods in Fiber-Optic Communication Systems" through CA Journal (cajournal.kz). In March 2026, he published "Robotic Systems for Fiber-Optic Cable Laying: Implementation Experience" in Znanstvena Journal (znanstvena-journal.com).
