Sushrutha Sreevathsa is a Site Reliability Engineer and product strategist with over 11 years of experience at Yahoo, where he has built a career at the intersection of reliability engineering, operational intelligence, and data-driven decision support. His work connects the technical precision of SRE with the strategic clarity required to translate complex operational signals into business outcomes, governance structures, and executive-ready insight.

In his current role as Project Manager and SRE at Yahoo, a position he has held since February 2017, Sushrutha Sreevathsa designed and built a leadership-facing Monthly Business Review operational analytics product that consolidated data from incident, event, problem management, and operational systems into a governed decision-support capability used by senior leadership and globally distributed engineering teams. The initiative moved reviews away from static reporting and metric reconciliation toward trend analysis, accountability, risk visibility, and remediation tracking. It reduced reporting cycle time by approximately 30% and cut manual incident-related reporting from 15% to 3%, while standardizing the interpretation of operational metrics across teams. Earlier in his Yahoo career, serving as a Network Operations Center Engineer from September 2013 through February 2017, Sushrutha Sreevathsa led the revenue and business metric monitoring initiative supporting advertising and digital business operations. He helped operationalize a follow-the-sun DevOps model, connecting anomaly detection, alert validation, incident triage, escalation, and business-impact assessment into a continuous operating capability. The monitored signals were associated with millions of dollars in advertising activity, and the work measurably improved the organization's ability to recognize abnormal revenue and delivery behavior during active operating windows rather than relying on delayed next-day review. Prior to Yahoo, he completed a six-month student internship at Cisco in 2010.
In parallel with his engineering career, Sushrutha Sreevathsa has contributed to community and organizational leadership through several sustained volunteer roles. He has served as Chapter Lead for Yahoo's elevAsian employee resource group since February 2019, organizing cultural celebrations and programming designed to foster inclusion across the company's Lockport operations. He has also served as Chapter Lead for Vibha since 2015, organizing fundraising events and awareness campaigns in the Western New York region to support grassroots projects serving underprivileged children. At Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, he co-founded the Kelley Direct International Circle, a student association created to support international students navigating the United States work landscape, and served as Assistant Vice President of Events for the Kelley Direct Marketing Association.

His research and writing span several interdisciplinary areas connecting AI, analytics, organizational decision-making, customer experience, and business performance. Published works include "AI-Augmented Customer Experience Systems: A Holistic Approach to Personalization and Recommendations," "AI-Enabled Decision Support Systems, Strategic Agility and Firm Performance: An ISM Integrated Framework," "Strategies for Reducing Alert Fatigue and Improving Signal Quality in Enterprise Monitoring Architectures," and "Revolutionizing Blockchain Governance: Integrating Gamification, Reputation, and Education into Proxy Voting Systems." He also authored Chapter 4 of the AWS Marketplace Data & AI Leader Book, "Build Strong Data Foundations for Agentic Analytics and Intelligent Agents," introducing a Connected Intelligence operating model that links data, models, governance, decisions, and people into a continuous, outcome-driven system. Physical editions of the book were displayed and distributed at AWS Summit New York City, where Sushrutha Sreevathsa signed copies as a contributing author, and he subsequently participated in a virtual panel with the AWS team to discuss the chapter's implications for enterprise AI adoption.
His public speaking engagements include an on-camera appearance as a panelist on TPG Live in the roundtable "Beyond the Product Playbook: Growth, Profit and Hard Calls," where he contributed perspectives on AI effectiveness, operational intelligence, feedback loops, and Connected Intelligence for product teams. He delivered keynote talks at the NextGen Hackathons Innovation Summit and the Global Fusion Hackathon, addressing technology innovation, responsible problem-solving, and the challenge of connecting technical execution with real-world outcomes in the current AI era. Sushrutha Sreevathsa holds a Master of Business Administration in Strategy and Leadership from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, where he was recognized as a Star Student by faculty and attended the NBMBAA Conference as a National Black MBA Fellow. He also completed a Project Management Certificate from the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education.
